    How PostInbox Mail works

Three steps, no account, nothing to install.

    1. 1Get an address

An address is ready as soon as the page loads. Copy it, scan it as a QR code or pick your own name.

    2. 2Receive and copy the code

Mail arrives in real time. Verification codes are detected and shown as a ticket you can copy with one click.

    3. 3Let it disappear

Free inboxes and their messages are deleted automatically after 24 hours. You can also delete them yourself at any time.

Free to use. Pay only for premium addresses.

Temporary inboxes are free. Top up a wallet with crypto when you want premium domains, longer storage, alerts and the API.

Example: a $2.00 top-up covers 40 premium addresses at $0.05 each. There is no subscription and your balance doesn't expire.

Built for privacy, tuned for speed

Everything a disposable inbox should do, and a few things most don't.

    Link masking

Every link in a message is routed through an anonymous redirect (hidi.my), so the site you visit can't see where you came from.

    Sandboxed HTML

Messages render in an isolated frame with scripts, forms and tracking tricks stripped out.

    Nothing kept for long

Inboxes, messages and attachments are wiped automatically when their time runs out.

    Attachment inspection

Files are checked against an allow-list and their real type before you can download them. Executables never get through.

    Dual delivery engine

Mail is piped straight from the mail server, with IMAP as a fallback, so messages appear in seconds.

    One-click codes

Verification codes and sign-in links are picked out of each message and shown where you can copy them right away.

    Light and dark

Follows your system theme and remembers your choice, with readable contrast in both.

    Sound and desktop alerts

A soft chime and an optional desktop notification tell you the code has arrived, even when the tab is in the background.

    Questions and answers

Short answers to the things people ask most.

How long does a temporary email address last?

Free inboxes and their messages are deleted automatically after 24 hours. Addresses created with a Pro wallet keep their messages for 168 hours. You can delete an inbox yourself at any time.

Can I choose my own address name?

Yes. Open "Change address", type a name and pick a domain. Names have a minimum and maximum length, and a few reserved names such as admin or support can't be used.

    Is a disposable inbox secure?

Each inbox is tied to your browser with a private key, messages are shown in a sandboxed frame with scripts removed, and links are masked. Remember that anyone who knows a free address could also receive mail sent to it, so don't use temporary mail for accounts you want to keep.

How do I top up my wallet with crypto?

Create a Pro account, open the wallet and choose an amount (minimum $2.00). You pay through Cryptomus in the coin of your choice, and the balance is credited as soon as the network confirms the payment.

Can I automate temp mail with an API?

Yes. After your first top-up of at least $2.00, you can create an API key and use the REST API to create addresses, list messages and read verification codes from your scripts and tests.

    Which attachments can I receive?

Common documents, images, audio, video and archives up to 15 MB, such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, PNG, MP3, MP4 and ZIP. Executable files and scripts are always blocked.

Can I send email from a temporary address?

No. PostInbox Mail only receives mail. This keeps the addresses clean and prevents them from being used to send spam.

    Do I need to register?

No. The free inbox works without an account. Registering is only needed for the Pro wallet, premium domains, forwarding, alerts and the API.
